April 11, 2016 First Week in Beira

Everything is going well in the north of Mozambique!

sat with a looot of new families this last week and trying to keep visiting them and get them to come to church! we had a few investigators come to church to watch conference and they really liked it!

everything is like 100x more humid and sweaty here, but it has been raining and its been pretty cool these past few days here. not too much news other than what ive already said.

but while i was at conference, i brought some crackers, and every time i grabbed another cracker there was this lady sitting infront of me that would turn around and look straight at my crackers. this happened for about 5 minutes. then another speaker came on and literally started his talk with, "i was an hungered, and ye fed me."
but long story short. she didnt get any crackers.

also during my studies this week in alma 62 verses 4, and 5.
it talks about how moroni was traveling to this city far away, and as he was traveling he would pass through other smaller cities. but wherever he went he had a high standard, and didnt tell people what he believed but he showed them, and because of his example, "thousands did flock unto his standard"  then in verses 9, 10 it just talks about how anyone who didnt follow he executed.. but what im sayin is that, we like moroni can have a standard and know who we are and what we want to be. if we can figure out those things for ourselves we will be able to stay firm in the things we believe in and keep the covenants we make regardless of the situations we may find ourselves in.
because wherever you go, whether you want to be or not, you are an example, for good or bad!

have a great week! bring a friend to church! (not a member)
